Promise of Things to Come

A little mystery can go a long way. It gets us confused and excited as our imagination goes through all the crazy things that might be happening. This is good. You want your date all worked up the next time they see you, right?

So this is the plan - send a gift to your partner's work that hints at the evening to come without letting the cat out of the bag. What does that mean? Well, here are a few examples that will get your honey's heart pumping:

Strawberries and Cream

Leave a single strawberry with whipped cream and a note that reads "See you tonight." Simple and sexy. The key is to drop it off at reception and get out of there. We're trying to create a little mystique, not reducing you to a blushing, stammering mess as your girlfriend interrogates you in front of the receptionist. "Ohh...strawberries and cream! Did you make dessert? What are we going to do with these? Do you have something naughty planned? (giggle)" And so forth. You came, you delivered, you were gone. Like the wind.

Slippery When Wet

Send a vial of oil and card signed with a lipstick kiss. A little more on the sexy side but still simple. And for those of you who are wondering, lipstick kisses should probably not be sent by the guys. Let's call them optional. Now the oil implies a massage, but they'll still spend the afternoon wondering if it's a foot rub, a back massage, or the coveted full body massage with candles, soft music, and wine. You'll let them know later.

A Little Restraint

Get a little edgier by giving a blindfold and/or handcuffs. And now you've entered the naughty-zone. The first two gifts might be gleefully shown around the office to taunt coworkers who are single and lonely, or those stuck with terribly unoriginal partners, but not these bad boys. This is a present that, once opened, brings a quick scan of the area to see if anyone noticed. Just like when they stole that Bazooka Joe bubble gum as a kid. Don't worry, they might not be showing it around the office but they can't wait to see what you have in store for later.

These ideas might be exactly what you're looking for or maybe they get the juices flowing and bring an even better one to your dirty mind. Whatever the case, have fun with it!
